Membership and Charity

Membership organisations have been early to adopt the web as their main channel for a widespread audience.

Membership

Many have invested in content-rich web sites as an efficient way of making information available widely, providing access to news, booking systems and so on. Common issues include compliance with disability access legislation, usability, search-friendliness, and – the big one for membership organisations – secure and effective integration of their CRM or membership databases with their on-line presence.

Supporting Membership Management

A membership site based around a well-implemented enterprise CMS (such as Sitecore or Alterian) will provide a future-proof platform to support bespoke and data integration requirements, as well as all compliance and membership management needs. It will take buy-in from all stakeholders for membership organisations to break out the cycle of unsustainable online development, and create secure, compliant and flexible sites.

Integrating securely with a membership database or CRM is a key component of a successful membership website. See our page on CRM integration for more details.
