Full service commercial law firm Browne Jacobson have fully embraced the online channel and it has become central to communication and marketing strategy. The company has 189 lawyers, including 69 partners and a national reach with offices in Birmingham, London and Nottingham. Browne Jacobson had already selected the Alterian content management system for their website and were looking for an experienced partner to support, host and evolve their web presence.
Challenge
With the web seen as central to Browne Jacobson’s business, Fusionworkshop were tasked with analysing, auditing and making sure the online offering was stable and secure. The firm needed to be certain their website was set up to support all stakeholders, both internally and externally. Alterian is a powerful content management system and Browne Jacobson needed to be sure that the CMS was implemented correctly to serve their immediate and future needs as they emerge.
Approach
Working closely with the team at Browne Jacobson, Fusionworkshop completed a project audit of the Browne Jacobson website and Alterian implementation. This included examining all environments (test, staging, live etc), and Deployment Server. The audit made recommendations to make the website run more efficiently for staff and customers. It was important to ensure that business was not disrupted as technical tasks were carried out. Processes were agreed and developed prior to the CMS development, with usability and accessibility recommendations made to improve the user experience.
Results
Fusionworkshop now support, maintain and host Browne Jacobson’s web presence and benefit from a customer-focused account managed approach.
