Species healthcheck enhancement of web services for Countryside Council for Wales
The Countryside Council for Wales champions the environment and landscapes of Wales and its coastal waters as sources of natural and cultural riches, as a foundation for economic and social activity, and as a place for leisure and learning opportunities. They aim to make the environment a valued part of everyone's life in Wales. The bilingual website serves a diverse group of stakeholders and is required to meet high levels of accessibility.
Challenge
The Council are using the Alterian CMC Content Management System and required a new toolkit to provide species healthcheck functionality. The tool needed to integrate seamlessly with the CMS and meet required accessibility standards.
Approach
Fusionworkshop used Alterian CMC plug-in creation experience to develop an enhanced mapping solution for the species healthcheck area and enhances the web services of CCW.
Results
