New website for historic country house

The Mansion House provides unique and memorable customer experiences in a historic country house setting with award-winning food and unrivalled service and value. The Mansion House is managed by Bedford College Services on behalf of the Shuttleworth Trust.

Challenge

Bedford College Services acquired the Mansion House property and had a requirement to use online as the main channel to drive bookings. It was important the the website was both an attractive showcase for the venue's services as well as meeting high standards of accessibilty and usability. Good search engine visibility was also key, to support paid and organic marketing campaigns.

Approach

As existing users of the Alterian CMC content management system, Bedford College were able to base the website around this platform. Fusionworkshop worked on an appropriate information architecture, moving from wireframes to full site development. Integration with Netbanx will allow visitors to book future events. The company will also provide the venue website with support and hosting services.
