How we work

When online matters...

We believe that when online matters you should use a specialist. Fusionworkshop focus on the delivery of mid-tier and enterprise web and intranet projects, as we have done for over 12 years. Our qualified and experienced Professional Services team has collectively over 120 years experience and a proven Service Delivery model.

Delivering when online matters

When online matters you’ll want to be certain that your project is delivered to plan. We'll work with you to discover the true requirements, share these with all stakeholders, leverage best practice and ensure a right-first-time result.

In our experience, customers benefit most from an initial consultancy engagement with Fusionworkshop. This establishes a clear and informed position for customers to identify choices and verify business decisions. We use processes such as business impact v. ease/cost of implementation throughout this phase to explore and identify technology options.

As independent web application specialists we provide our customers with an informed and impartial decision environment to plan the future of their business. We work exclusively in .Net and SQL Server. Our consultants provide real and viable solutions by confirming key improvement areas, defining and prioritising initiatives to minimise customer risk.

Requirements Elicitation and Management

Fusionworkshop has adopted and tailored a lightweight and rapid requirements elicitation and management process. It is based on a number of methods and definitions derived from IEEE Standard 1471. One of the benefits of this process is that it helps ensure that a proposed solution considers all aspects of a customer's system.

We ensure that requirements and quality criteria are captured for analysis with respect to the business case. Fusionworkshop do this formally, using the concepts of Stakeholder representation, Viewpoints and Perspectives.

The Discovery / Requirements Gathering activity results in an Architectural Definition of the system. It also generates a number of supporting products that enable the Architectural Definition to form part of a PRINCE2 Project Initiation Document.

Appropriate use of these well-proven techniques along with business scenario analysis, UML diagramming, and prototyping exercises gives a robust, shared understanding of what the solution must achieve. It gives our developers a blueprint from which they can extract technical designs.

Support

Fusionworkshop operates a formalised Support Desk to help customers by handling service requests in a friendly and professional manner. Customers with a support contract benefit from component updates, proactive application management and prioritised issue response. All our customers are assigned a named person in our Account Management team.

Your Next Steps

We are a technically exceptional team that deliver stable and robust web platforms and thrive on technical challenges. Choosing the right web solutions partner could be one of the most important business decisions you’ll ever make.

It was very important to us that the accreditation spanned those services we offer to customers rather than just one aspect of the business. It is a testament to our company and the people we have here that the certification process went so smoothly.
