Welsh Government appoint Fusionworkshop
Delivery of new Sitecore-based language diagnostics tool
Supporting the development of Welsh language skills.
The Welsh Government has appointed Fusionworkshop to deliver a new Sitecore-based diagnostic tool which will support organisations to assess the Welsh language skills of their staff and develop these skills to meet the requirements of their posts. This supports The Welsh Governments goal of encouraging employers in the private and public sectors to develop the Welsh language skills of their staff so that they can provide improved services through the medium of Welsh.
The purpose of the Welsh Language Skills Diagnostic Tool is twofold:
- The Management Diagnostic Tool allows employers to analyse which Welsh language skills are required by their workforce.
- The Skills Diagnostic Tool allows employers to analyse the skill levels of staff and focus areas for improvement.
The project, which will cover both voice and data, will be delivered on the Sitecore platform. Fusionworkshop will draw on their skills in developing user experience and bi-lingual content management. The project is being delivered for The Department for Education and Skills (DfES) who are responsible for the development and implementation of education, learning and skills strategies across Wales and across all forms of learning.
