Testing and prototyping
Testing
Projects work best when the
different parties respect roles and contracts. Testing throughout
is key as CRM and CMS integration projects are inherently risky so
the integrators need to have clear testing procedures and plans in
place covering:
- Unit testing
- Intrusion testing
- Stress testing
- Browser testing
- Usability testing
Prototyping
We have a proven wireframing and prototyping process that allows
functionality to be demonstrated, thereby reducing risk.
Our team view
prototyping as the process of capturing the essential
characteristics of workflow, content architecture, web interactions
and page layout without the need to actually develop the associated
features and functionality. The process is rapid and collaborative
which means that project stakeholders can visualise key details of
the proposed solution very early on in the project lifecycle. A
lo-fi prototype relies on collaborative thinking, whiteboards,
post-its and other tactile media to sketch and amend during scoping
meetings. Hi-fi prototypes are ‘dummied’ websites that allow click
through and show layout and process without any of the underlying
functional code. Fusion Workshop uses both hi-fi and lo-fi
prototyping techniques to capture, explore and refine project
requirements.
